Judy Hudson is a Melbourne based photographic artist whose works explore the feminine through a mood of solitude and elusiveness.

 

Inspired by the motifs and symbolism of romanticism, Hudson aims to depict a sense of classical timelessness rendered through the sensitive use of light and dark to create elusive images that invite the viewer to quietly ponder in silent solitude.

Her works explore the complexity of the feminine through figurative and self portraiture images; soulful and melancholy, inviting the viewer into a secret and personal world whilst depicting an ethereal presence.
