The Illawarra Diaries are a personal collection of my photographs exploring childhood memories and emotions, photographed in my family home during 2020.

This on-going project is a reflection of my emotional journey, as I continue to progressively empty the house of belongings but not the memories of happy, sad, celebratory and challenging moments which shaped my life.

Often using myself as the subject, which I rarely do, our 100 year old home is now nearly an empty shell but not an empty vessel as a metaphor for my life's journey.
